The Service Rack has been serving greater Mankato areas residential and commercial automotive needs since 1981!  Originally opened by Arlo Zander, the Service Rack focused on providing expert auto service and an affordable price.  His formula worked and the business added many loyal customers and several commercial fleet accounts. Arlo worked with many quality ASE certified technicians over the years and also built relationships with many quality vendors to provide support for a range of residential and specialty commercial vehicles.  The Service Rack is the trusted auto service provider for the local FedEx Express, Bimbo Bakeries, and several more commercial fleet accounts as well as having a loyal following for many residential customers.

In 2018 Arlo Zander retired and sold the business to his next-door neighbors in business at Starr Cycle, the Zender Family.  After years of working closely with Arlo and the technicians at ‘the Rack,’ John and Nathan were eager to be a part of their story.  Nathan Zender and the great staff continue the commitments Arlo has made to the great customers at the Service Rack.
